Nice to meet you!
Congratulations on taking this first step in your organizing journey!
Hiring an organizer is a very personal process. Most clients feel vulnerable about inviting an organizer into their space. I hope that knowing a little about me will help you feel comfortable reaching out.
My name is Mara Pritchard. I opened The Beautiful Sort in September, 2022. Since opening, I’ve helped all different types of clients: young families, empty nesters, people experiencing grief, small businesses, and nonprofits.
The most important thing to know about me is that I do not judge. I believe we are all on our own journey, and I understand that you may be in a season of messiness. Tidy people rarely hire me, so don’t be nervous about showing me the messy corners of your home. Messy corners keep me in business!
I believe in the healing power of organization. When we are happier at home, we are kinder outside of our homes. I work to open people’s homes and hearts to their community. My clients donate unwanted items to charities that benefit people across Lancaster county and the world. My clients feel confident hosting playdates and parties, knowing their homes are a point of pride, not embarrassment.
Before becoming a professional organizer, I spent 15 years as a middle school and high school English teacher. My experience as an educator has taught me to be clear and caring, qualities I bring to each client’s project. I have a teacher’s heart and work to instruct my clients to eventually manage their spaces without my assistance.
If you are at all interested in hiring a professional organizer, pop me an email or give me a call. I never pressure or spam potential clients. Let’s connect and see if we’re a good fit.
